We've long heard many accusations against chemical sunscreens being so very toxic for our health. A specific scientific test has been done by a group from McMaster University in Ontario, that has provided some very interesting results.
They wanted to investigate endometriosis in people in connection with a range of endocrine-disrupting compounds, including the benzophenone-containing compounds in sunscreens. This was done knowing that benzophenones mimic estrogen signaling.
Some interesting results, even though a small test and perhaps just a beginning of many more?
